Why
do Yoga? But the real significance of Yoga is in the connection between body and mind. As confidence and sensitivity grow, freedom is found in the body and stillness in the mind. Balance, stability and flexibility are the practical skills which we develop in each posture. These skills can be transferred and used in our daily lives. As yoga helps in balancing the basic structure of the body, it has a wide range of therapeutic uses too. Kathy has taught people with neck and back problems, during pregnancy, high and low blood pressure, spine misalignment, people with mental health problems, physical disabilities, suffering work-related stress, athletes, musicians, dancers, transition year students, children, and mothers and babies.
